Halestorm - Halestorm cover Halestorm is a band that I only got into about a month ago, but they’re absolutely fantastic. “I Get Off” is their  debut single, and it’s definitely worth listening to at least once.

The entire song is about getting off on being watched, and on the first listen you think that it’s all about sex. The real inspiration and meaning behind the song is actually quite different. Lzzy Hale (lead singer) apparently explained in an interview that the song is actually about the rush the band gets from performing on stage. Either way you look at it, the song is great, and it’s a lot of fun.

My other favorites from the album include “Familiar Taste of Poison”, “I’m Not an Angel”, and “Love/Hate Heartbreak”.
